Overdrive Switching to RBdigital!
The Lee County Library is excited to announce that the Georgia Download Destination (GADD)
will be starting a new partnership with RBdigital as their new vendor for e-books, e-audiobooks, and e-magazines!

Q. Why is there a change?
A. Beginning Feb 6, 2018, GADD will switch from OVERDRIVE to RBDigital in order to provide libraries with a more cost efficient way to provide patrons with more electronic books, magazines and audiobook content.
Q. When will the change take effect?
A Starting January 1st, 2018, all OVERDRIVE holds will be suspended. Starting on February 6th, 2018, patrons will be able to place new holds on RBDigital.
Q. What will happen to my holds?
A. Any holds not filled on Overdrive (old system) by January 1, 2018 will not be transferred over and will need to be recreated on the RBDigital (new system).
Q. When can I put things on hold again?
A. Beginning February 6th, 2018, you will be able to start placing new holds on RBDigital.
Q. What titles will be available on the new system?
A. While publishers still determine the availability of titles in electronic format, GADD will continue to purchase thousands of new and popular bestsellers in e-book, e-magazine and e-audiobook formats.
