Part-time, $13.30 per hour, 18 hours per week

Lee County Library is accepting applications for a part-time cataloging associate. Applicants should be self-motivated, professional, and community-oriented individuals dedicated to customer service. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to help maintain, process, and catalog our library materials, ensuring our collections remain accessible and well-organized for the community.

• A keen eye for detail
• Exceptional customer service skills and initiative
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Online searching skills
• Working knowledge of computers, Google Apps and Microsoft Office Applications
• Technical knowledge of and skills to operate phone, computer systems and standard business equipment
• Capability to work collaboratively and as a team player with colleagues
• Strong work ethic and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and follow through in a timely manner
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb
• Physical ability to exert up to 35 pounds of force
• High School Diploma or GED, or the ability to hold within 6 months

 Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Cataloging and classifying library materials
• Maintaining accurate records
• Using library resources and databases
• Processing hold requests
• Attending required training and continuing education opportunities
